Report on the roof repairs for Newsletter

By the time you read this we hope that the work on replacing the old asbestos roof tiles on the village hall will be underway.  The work is to be undertaken with minimum disruption to activities in the hall.  Brian Walker, the contractor, is keen to complete the work as quickly as possible, and with minimal disruption. Let’s hope the weather will be kind and allow him to complete the work in the planned  7-10 days.

We owe a vote of very grateful thanks to the two funding organisations who have contributed grants enabling this important project to go ahead.  These are The Foyle Foundation who support community projects, and North Norfolk District Council. Our thanks also go to everyone in the village who has contributed to our own fundraising efforts over the past months.

On completion the hall will comply with the requirements of our insurance policy, and with the added benefit that the new roof will be easily maintained.

    Annual Parish Meeting

Monday 21 May 2018 at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting for all parish electors. In Kettlestone we use it as an opportunity for village groups to share what they have been doing throughout the year, to celebrate achievements and involve others for future activities.

If you are involved with a village group, you are invited to give a short résumé of the group’s activities and plans. Nothing too long is required. If possible please supply the Clerk with a copy of your report to have on file, put on the website and to print in the Parish News. You may email your report to [email protected] .

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council follows the Annual Parish Meeting on Monday 21 May 2018.
