NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the 1) B1110 Holt Road from its junction with A1067 Norwich Road for 190m northwards; and 2) B1110 Bridge Road from its junction with A1067 Norwich Road for 190m south-westwards in the PARISH OF GUIST because of carriageway reconstruction works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 19:00 and 06:00 from 28th September to 2nd October 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 5 nights within the period.
Alternative route is via: 1) B1110 Holt Road/Dereham Road, B1354 Melton Road, A148 Holt Road, A1067 Clipbush Lane/Pensthorpe Road/Fakenham Road/Norwich Road and vice versa; 2) B1110 Bridge Road/Broom Green/Broom Green Road/Pump Street/High Street/Holt Road/Dereham Road, B1145 Back Lane/Station Road/Billingford Road/Elmham Road/The Street/Bawdeswell Road/Billingford Road, A1067 Fakenham Road/Norwich Road/Fakenham Road/Norwich Road and vice versa (Briningham, Fakenham, Guist, Kettlestone, Little Snoring, Melton Constable, Ryburgh, Stibbard, Swanton Novers, Thursford, Wood Norton, North Elmham, Billingford, Bawdeswell, Foxley, Bintree, Twyford).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
